Summer Family Nights: Join us on Wednesday evenings for times of family fun, meals, prayer, and an opportunity to learn about the Covenant's mission work around the world. We will feature several of the countries we are connected wtih by enjoying food, friends, crafts, and stories of faith from around the world. Friends and neighbors are always welcome; dinner is $2/person or $5/family. The remaining schedule:
- Wednesday, July 28 -- Wes and Deb Lindahl will share insights from their recent trip to China, where Wes taught a class for several weeks.
- Wednesday, Aug. 11 -- We wrap up the summer with a fun night together: just dinner, volleyball, and fellowship around the campfire.
Worship survey: Please complete the email survey you received recently it as soon as possible. Although paper copies are available at church, please fill it out online if you are able, to make analysis easier. The deacons, worship committee, church council and pastors thank you for helping us to evaluate our worship services and plan for fall.
Missionary prayer calendars: We have received a supply of the new Covenant Missionary Prayer Calendar. They can be used as a guide to pray for our missionaries around the world on a daily basis. You can find them at the Information Center.
Morning of prayer Aug. 14: Our first morning prayer retreat was held June 19, and we have a very refreshing time singing and praying together, taking a prayer walk on our beautiful grounds and on the bike paths, and quiety listening to God's Word. The deacons invite you to join us for a second morning of prayer on Saturday, Aug. 14. It is a true Sabbath experience! We will arrange for childcare if you let us know of your need.
