Have you ever had to wait a long time for something to happen or to receive something?
What was it like to wait?
What does it mean to hope?
The wisemen had been waiting and watching for a very long time when finally one night they saw it. What did they see? The Bethlehem star that announced the birth of the king of kings, the savior of the world, Jesus. I wonder if the wisemen ever lost hope, waiting night after night for the star to appear? After awhile I wonder if they started to wonder if it was ever going to appear or if the promise of the birth of this most special king was even true. Waiting is hard but Jesus was born, the promise is true and we have a glorious future in heaven to hope for.
