Thank you for sharing this devo with me. I’m moved and hopeful that this season of Advent “waiting” will be filled with a hope that surpasses my understanding because of the God who sent Jesus to live, suffer as we do and die for us to bring us reconciliation to the Heavenly Father.

Maria, thanks for sharing your fears and doubts. This lesson about being able to trust in the Lord keeps trying to bust it’s way into my life, through I seem to be trying my best to ignore it and disprove it. Thru encouragement and reinforcement, I will make it.

All the stories about the apostle’s failures right in the presense of the Lord are important lessons for me. My immediate reaction is to say, “How could the apostles do that right in front of Jesus?”. It is a reminder to me that my own failures are just as visible to my living God
