Celebrating the Passover Seder Together
On Saturday, Apr. 20 at 5pm we welcome Dr. Boaz Johnson from North Park University to lead us through a traditional Christian Passover Seder. Through food, song, prayer, and even dance, the Seder tells the story of the Exodus from Egypt. Jesus celebrated the Seder with His disciples on the last night and used it to explain and proclaim His own death and resurrection found in the Seder. After our Seder, we will continue our evening with a potluck Seder dinner for the whole family. We will supply the drinks and main dish and ask that participants consider bringing a side dish or dessert to share. Please RSVP here so we can prepare accordingly. See you at the Seder!
New Member Class
On Sunday, Apr. 21, join us for our Spring New Member Class. We’ll share lunch together while we learn and talk about what membership in our church means. Hear the history of our Covenant Denomination, of our Libertyville Covenant Church, and how you can be involved in the life of our community. RSVP with the church office and join us, for the class and for the future.
Spring Cleaning at LCC
On Saturday, Apr. 27, we gather every member of our church to deep clean and prepare it for our spring and summer ministry. Indoors and outdoors, scrubbing and hauling, we need everyone’s help. Meet at 9am and we’ll be done by noon. And did I mention there will be donuts?
