Children’s Ministries
Every Sunday plan to experience offerings for children of all ages:
Children’s Sunday School (9:00 to 10:00): September 10th through May
Pre-School (3 and 4 yr old)
K-3rd
4th-5th
Nursey is available up to 3 years old
WORSHIP SERVICE
LCC uses an intergenerational model of worship where children stay with us and are actively included in our weekly worship. During the second half of the service, our children will be invited to the PrayGround, an area of the sanctuary designated for them with Shepherds to oversee them and activities to do that will be part of the sermon. We have seen this model at our All-Church Retreats the last few years as well as immediately post-COVID in our own worship services. See letter for more details.

ENVIRONMENTS
NURSERY
Birth – Toddler
Our goal is to create a loving and nurturing environment for our nursery babies. Your child is special to us and we want his or her first impression of church to be a positive one as they begin to learn about the love of Jesus.
PRESCHOOL
Two Years – Five Years
In our preschool environments, our goal is to begin to lay the spiritual foundation of biblical truths through age-appropriate bible lessons, music, crafts and free play.
ELEMENTARY
Kindergarten – 5th Grade
In elementary, our goal is not to simply raise kids who have character, but to encourage kids to have the kind of relationship with God that results in showing His character to the world.
VOLUNTEER
Volunteers play a vital role in our ministry. There are a variety of ways that you can make a difference in the lives of children and families. If you have a passion for cuddling babies, connecting with new families or growing kids in relationship with God, we would love to have you join us.
