Turkey Bowl –  Starting at 11:00 am due to cold!

Monthly Midweek Ministry Meets Oct. 30 and Dec. 4

One Wednesday of every month, Libertyville Covenant, New Abbey Covenant, Redeemer Life, and Northbrook Covenant Churches are joining forces and communities for a monthly gathering including dinner from 5:30-6:30pm, and then a time to share life together from 6:30-7:30pm.  Our children will be led by a multi-church team downstairs and our Middle Schoolers will meet with our Youth Team in the youth room while our adults gather around games, crafts, prayer, or just conversation upstairs.  This intentional but unplanned community time is a great way to grow together, have fun together, and share life together.  Everyone is welcome so join us!

Adult Sunday School/ Bible Study Opportunites

Each Sunday at 9 am we have a choice to attend one of the following:

• Women’s Sunday School – This class will meet in the fellowship hall for the current topic “No Worries: Learning to Trust our Sovereign God”. This study will lead us through scripture and help us learn how to walk in God’s truth and trust Him, eliminating our need to worry. He has great blessings for us if only we will trust Him. This class is led by Michelle Pas.
• Adult Sunday School– This class will meet in the sanctuary to discuss Nouwen’s “Return of the Prodigal Son”. We will reflect on and explore the many emotions of the central characters in this parable, think about how they show up in our own lives, and remind each other that we can always turn back to the Father whose arms are wide open. Paul Hawkinson leads this class.

In addition to these Sunday morning gatherings, please remember our two-midweek offerings:

• Men’s Bible Study – Each Friday at 7 am via Zoom the intriguing study of the book of Hebrews is being offered. Please get in touch with Wes Lindahl for more information.
• Women’s Bible Study – Beginning October 3rd and each Thursday thereafter at 9:15am we will study the book of Mark. Study guides are now available in the church office for $9.50. Please contact Linda Youngman for additional information.
