Wouldn’t you love to spend an evening eating a great dinner with friends from church at a warm and welcoming home?  That’s what “Who’d Coming to Dinner?” is all about.  Sign up to be either a host or a guest for a dinner on Oct. 27.  Let us know what side dish you’d like to bring.  And the week before the event you’ll be emailed an address.  At 6pm that evening, you show up at that address with the side you agreed to bring and find waiting there a home with church friends ready to welcome you to the party.  This is a great way to invite friends to experience one of LCC’s strengths – fellowship.  Just click the link and sign up today.

Wednesday nights are packed with great things this year, so come and join us as we grow together!

5:30 – 6:30pm DinnerTime
Eating is considered by most to be one of the best ways to grow together (in more ways than one!)  The conversations that happen over a shared meal are priceless when it comes to Unity and Community, so join us when you can for dinner and conversation.
6:15 – 7:45pm Kids Klub and MS Youth group
With games, music, lessons, prayer, and quarterly multi-generational events, this midweek time together is not to be missed.
6:45 – 7:45pm Adult Bible Study
Our only mixed bible study, everyone from 14 to 104 is invited and encouraged to join us.  We’ll be looking together at the book of Romans as a practical guide to faithful living.
6:45 – 8pm  Choir
If bible study isn’t your thing on a Wed. night, then join the choir!  We’re always looking for new faces with new voices.  All are welcome!

This coming Sunday, Aug. 26, is our Kickoff Sunday and do we have an amazing day planned for you!  Everyone is invited to everything and we hope you’ll make an extra effort to join us for the whole morning.

9:15am – Sunday School Kickoff
Everyone gathers in the Sanctuary for music, The Great Family Faceoff, prayer, and a preview of our year including details about our Children’s  and Youth Ministries, our Christmas Musical, our adult Bible Studies, and more.

10:30am – Worship Together

We gather for worship including a Word of Witness from Paul Nauman, the giving of bibles to our kindergarteners, and the wrap-up of our series on Elijah and Elisha focusing on what Jesus had to say about these two prophets.

12:00pm – Kickoff Picnic
Bring a side or dessert to pass, lawn chairs or a blanket and join us for our annual picnic.  Burgers, brats, and hotdogs.  Salads, fruit, and chips.  More desserts than we can eat.  There will be plenty for everyone.

On Aug. 10-12, we gather together at Conference Point Center in Williams Bay, WI for a weekend of fun, worship, singing, campfires, fireworks, games, and a whole lot more.  This year our theme is “He Knows My Name”.  Please sign up here by July 8 to reserve your room.  For a full, printable brochure, click here, print a few, and use them to invite your friends and families.
