Sale Days are June 2 (11-7pm) and 3 (9am – 2pm)

The rummage sale gives us so many opportunities for ministry:
We get to spend time together as we set up and price, time to share life and grow deeper together.
We draw hundreds of people from our community into our church where we can hear their stories and share our own.
We serve people by providing low-cost items for their home.
We raise thousands of dollars to help send our kids to camp, mission trips, retreats, and more.

This week, please find an hour or two to minister through our church.  There are lots of ways to help:
WE NEED YOUR THINGS! You or your neighbors or friends can drop off rummage sale items anytime this week.
If you need us to pick up larger items or loads, just call or email to set up a time: 847-362-3308 or [email protected] .
Come and organize, hang clothes, or set up a room anytime this week.
Sign up to help with the sale itself.  Sign up sheets are in the narthex or here.
Come help clean up on Saturday at 2pm.  Many hands make light work.

In the past 20 years that we have been recording the rummage sale figures we have earned $116,768 to help send many of our youth to camps, retreats, CHIC and on Mission Trips. . . . THANK YOU!

On Sunday May 21st, we will be celebrating the end of our programming year in a number of ways.

At 9:15am, all ages are invited to the sanctuary for a closing Sunday school multi-generational game, discussion, and lesson.

At 10:30am, we gather for worship with guest speaker Jim Sundholm.

At 12:00pm, join us on the Hill for a “catered picnic” including roast pig and chicken, salads and beans, desserts and drinks.  Bid on our Silent Auction items, meet new families, and have some fun in the beautiful sun.

Everyone is welcome this Wed. night at LCC!  We’ll begin the evening at 5:30pm in the Fellowship Hall with a pizza dinner (salads and dessert as well!) and then at 6:30pm, everyone is encouraged to make their way over to Fairhaven Lanes in Mundelein (take 176 west, then angle west on Hawley, the alley is on your left) for a bowling party.  While we cannot supply nursery or transportation, we’ll be there to bowl until 7:45pm.  At that point our evening is finished, and if you want to stay and bowl longer, you are welcome to do so!  Invite a friend and celebrate with us!
