Welcome to Fall at LCC!

On Sunday, Sept. 6 we are kicking off our school-year programming with an amazing morning of fun and worship.  At 9:15am we gather at church for a special Kickoff coffee  hour.  Pastries, breakfast foods and, of course, coffee will set the tone for a time to chat and get to know the people of LCC.  Then we’ll move into the sanctuary together where we’ll sing camp songs, give our new kindergartners their new bibles, meet our teachers, and hear about the theme for the fall in skit form.  You thought watching Pastor Steve dance with the Ugandan Children’s Choir was funny, wait til you see him duke it out with Pastor Paul and Bobby!  The kids and youth will head to their Sunday school classes for the last few minutes while the adults resume their coffee hour, and then at 10:30 we gather for worship including special music by the Kim family, communion, a story about a new ministry called POP (Power of Prayer) and a message about growth and transformation.  It’s the holiday so come celebrate with us in the morning and then celebrate with family and friends for the rest of the day.  See you there!
