The Celebration of 35 Years

October 21st – The Celebration of 35 years of life as Libertyville Covenant Church.

In October of 1977, a charter was signed establishing our church. We want to remember the faith and vision of our founding members, rejoice with all who have joined us since, and celebrate God’s goodness and faithfulness. We invite all who have been part of our church family to come for this special observance.

9:45 – During Adult Sunday School we will remember the stories of our founding members and their vision for a church in Libertyville.

11:00 – Worship with recognition of special guests and a time to honor the charter members who are currently members of our church: Bev and Gene Sparks, Robert and Karen North and Dolores Sessler.

Lunch will be served downstairs for all after the service. This will be a time to visit with friends new and old and view displays of our church history.
