It is time to pack boxes for Operation Christmas Child. Between now and November 10th we will be collecting school supplies, small toys & games, and toiletry items. On Saturday, November 17th, the young families will have a “night of service” when we will pack shoe boxes full of fun Christmas surprises which will then be sent to needy children around the world. For many of the children who receive these boxes it will be their very first Christmas present! As the boxes are handed out Operation Christmas Child staff and local Christian congregations will present the gospel message to the children and their families and will also give each child a book in their own language that tells the story of Christ.

Our goal this year is to pack 40 boxes. A sign-up sheet is located on the children’s ministry bulletin board with specific items and quantities needed for the boxes. We will also be collecting money to help cover the cost of shipping the shoe boxes. If you would like more information on
what Operation Christmas Child is you can check out the website at https://www.samaritanspurse.org.
