Last Sunday’s Feed My Starving Children packing event started as a dream and a way to complete this fall’s ministry fair. After seeing it become reality on Sunday with 115 members of the LCC church family serving, laughing and being the church together it was even better than I had imagined in my head.
It was such a blessing to see so many come out from all different generations working together to provide meals for kids all around the world. I also want to thank the larger church for their generous donation that made it possible for us to serve and pack almost 25,000 meals! I have heard from many of you asking that we do something like this again. I think this was a great first step to developing a rhythm of the church serving together on a scale like
