Pastoral Search Committee

A Congregational Meeting will be held on March 17, at 12:30 p.m. at which time we will be electing people to serve on our Pastoral Search Committee. If you would like to submit your name or to nominate someone to consider serving, forms will be available in the Sunday bulletins or you can do so online.  If you have any questions about this process please contact Trevor James at [email protected].

The Council hopes to have a good cross section of our Congregation from which we can select the 9 person committee. All nominations must be received by Sunday, March 3rd. Our process is going to adhere to our church By-Laws.

The Deacons are in the process of planning the Winter Retreat at St. Mary of the Lake Conference Center in Mundelein. The Streams & Pathways retreat has been a very meaningful experience for those who have attended in previous years. It is a retret designed to introduce spiritual practices to enrich your prayer life. Below is a link to sign up for the one day event, Saturday, February 9, 2013, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (including lunch). New Sunday School Series: Developing Sticky Faith for the Whole Church

You are invited to join us for a four week series that will alert us to some of the growing concerns facing the church today and two of the leading strategies that can help a church like Libertyville Covenant develop deep and lasting faithfor the entire church.  Each session has a video component from some of the leading voices in our country who are addressing these growing concerns facing the church.   Our sessions will entail health conversations and hands on experiences!  High School Students are invited to participate in the first two weeks of the series, January 6th and 13th.  Please consider joining this important conversation!
